At Perta, you have the right to request deletion of your personal data at any time. This page explains how to submit a deletion request, what data gets removed, and what to expect.
To request deletion of your data, email us at [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include the email address associated with your account.
How to Request Deletion
Follow these steps to request deletion of your data:
- Send an email to [email protected]
- Use the subject line: Data Deletion Request
- Include the email address associated with your Perta account
- Optionally, describe the specific data you want deleted (or request full deletion)
What Gets Deleted
Upon a valid deletion request, we will permanently remove:
- Your account information (name, email address)
- Your usage history and activity logs
- Any content or data you have stored in Perta
- Preferences and settings associated with your account
- Any third-party login associations (e.g., Facebook Login)
What May Be Retained
Certain data may be retained after a deletion request where required by law or legitimate business necessity, including:
- Transaction records required for tax or accounting compliance
- Data needed to resolve outstanding disputes or enforce agreements
- Aggregated, anonymized analytics data that cannot identify you
Timeframe
We will process your deletion request within 30 days of receipt. In most cases, deletion will be completed significantly sooner.
Confirmation
Once your data has been deleted, we will send a confirmation email to the address you used to submit the request. If you do not receive confirmation within 30 days, please follow up at [email protected].
